Bangladesh Economy Especially The Agriculture sector, which is the most important sector in the Bangladesh economy, employs about 39% of the country's total labor force. The share of the sector in GDP, according to the provisional estimate of the National Accounts Statistics, was 11.50% in fiscal year 2022, compared to 12.07% in the previous fiscal year. On the other hand, animal farming and forest-related services sub-sectors grew higher at 3.10% and 5.08% in fiscal year 2022. That was compared to 2.94% and 4.98%, respectively, in fiscal year 2021.
